How do you work this thing?

So I've been dragging my feet to get this done for a while. My hands are pretty full with school, ministry, and a business but I hear this is therapeutic so here we go...I get told a lot that I say things that other people want to say but can't (that gets me in trouble sometimes teheheheehe).

My blog will be no different...I want to talk about everything but of course we're keeping it classy here. My main themes are my 3 S's. SAVED, SINGLE, and SUCCESSFUL. I'll be happy to address certain things as interest arises but most of all I just want to be real. I do not promise to blog everyday but once a week will probably be more of my speed lol.

Just in case you don't know me...here is a quick overview: 25 year old entrepreneur, I love the Lord, working on a Ph.D, and really just trying to make my print in this world. That's the short version but you'll learn more as we go.

I'm only interested in being positive and transparent. I may consider a vlog to accompany this...but we'll see. Thanks for clicking the link :-) This may be kinda dope after all

    I absolutely love you for this blog! This is something THE WOLRD needs to hear. So often, people run to marriage in an attempt to "heal and deliver" them. The voids we feel are clear indications that we are HUMANS longing for personal fulfillment. WE have to be fulfilled FIRST before we can enter into a Covenant, less we desire to be miserable forever.

      You hit the nail right on the head! I wish more people understood this. No one can make you happy unless you are first happy within...Some people are not looking for spouses their looking for a savior (I think that's my next blog) lol. Thank you for your support. I'm excited!

Confessions of A Side Chick

Yoooooo!!! It’s been a minute. Please charge it to my head and not my heart. I’ll be honest….Yes, I haven’t written because of my schedule (currently in New York now, speaking in New Hampshire tomorrow) but to be honest I haven’t written because of fear. How do you follow up on a blog that has over 15,000 readers? I was like, “bruh, there is absolutely nothing I can say at this point that will measure to that”. Single and Satisfied?

I said I was going to be transparent, right? That may have been an understatement. Gen 2:18: The Lord God said "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him". When looking at singleness we often quote the above scripture to support why we shouldn't be single. What we have to realize is singleness is not punishment nor is it bad. I went to Liberty University, the WORLD'S largest Christian school...so you could probably imagine the pressure of marriage that lingered in the atmosphere.
